Nicolet is our resident cat expert. She is the newest member of our staff and has plenty of horse rescue stories to share. Nicolet is friendly and always willing to help you. She is learning about keeping fish and has a great knowledge to share with you about setting up your new tank. Nix has a deep love for her own cats and has a long and beautiful history with cats. She spends hours playing with her babies so if you want to know about the latest and best toys for your kitty Nicolet can recommend the perfect one!
Meet Aj - the "bird guy". Aj was born and raised on a farm which breeds and raises birds for local and international sales. African greys can be fussy and emotional but if you need great friendly and practical help with your "Grey" - Aj is your man! AJ clips wings and nails at the shop for FREE. A balanced diet is also very important for your feathered friend and Aj will help you with the best feeding menu for all your birds - large or small. Aj is also in charge of our fish section, so if you need it - he can get it! Our marine tank is maintained by Aj and his knowledge is growing rapidly about the hobby "of keeping"water. AJ is always happy and willing to help you with all you pet needs.
Linda is our lifesaver. She packs all the food and pet supplies and makes sure that you can find what you need in a hurry. Without her - we would be LOST. Linda tidies the shelves and keeps the shop clean for your pleasant shopping experience. If you need help with your dog food bag or cannot find what you need, Linda is always there with a smile to help you. PLease do not hesitate to ask her to help you carry a bag if you are struggling. Linda is also in charge of our crickets, mealworms and hissing cockroaches. She feeds them and makes sure that you receive healthy gut-loaded feeder food for you exotic pet.
Sunelle is the Manager of our team and in charge of a mountain of paperwork. Thanks to Sunelle, our bills get paid so we can carry all the super products at our great prices. She can assist you with your queries on dog and cat food and can recommend the best product for your best friend as she is a veterinary nutritionist. Sunelle keeps us all in line with her mighty whip so that all runs smoothly in the shop so you receive the very best service in South Africa!
Our smiley assistant manager is Stephannie. She speaks Dog, Cat, Bird, and fish fluently. Her Reptile and Horse is ok but her Afrikaans is poor. They don't teach that in Canada! She has a degree in therapeutic reflexology, herbal therapy and is a veterinary nutritionist. Stephannie can help you with your pet's behavioural problems and can assist with minor medical inquiries. She has been grooming for 18 years and has a wealth of knowledge to share about your dogs grooming requirements. Stephannie has been keeping fish for 25years and loves a challenge. You can bring your water for a test and she will patiently help you with your water problems. Our marine tank is under Stephannie's care and her passion for "keeping water" pushes her for new products to serve you better. Stephannie is in charge of ordering all the items in the shop and she strives to bring you the best quality products at the very best price possible.
